1/14 - Groundwater in relation to the water cycle
1/15 - Continued with groundwater, built a model of an aquifer 1/16 - Met Ms.Settle, discussed saltwater vs. freshwater 1/17 - Water cycle review game 1/18 - Watched Antarctica video Cycle 4,5,7 - Read pgs.22-23 in your textbook. Answer the questions in the beige rectangle on pg.23.
1/7 - Condensation activity was done in the lab; condensation - how it works and which factors affect it were discussed
1/8 - All classes took a water cycle vocabulary quiz and then worked on a computer simulation of the water cycle 1/9 - Surface water and how it factors in to the water cycle, learned some new vocab words 1/10 - We reviewed the water cycle packets filled out alongside the computer simulations, quizzes were returned and reviewed, and some common misconceptions were gone over. 1/11 - Discussed erosion and factors affecting it, did a lab demonstration with sand and soil. Next week we will be discussing groundwater and how it factors in to the water cycle. Answer the question on your Google Classroom.
1/2 - Changed out textbooks as we started working on the water cycle
1/3 - Continued working on the water cycle, some classes tried to design a water cycle model with a specific material list 1/4 - Worked on a water cycle lab. Next week - Continuing with water cycle, specifically how it is moved by the sun's energy and the force of gravity. Vocabulary quiz on Tuesday. Make sure you do the homework for YOUR class
